| subject: | Heritage VTX transformer specs? |
Hello, I have a Heritage VTX 130 amp from the early 1980s. I'm sure it's entirely outside of warranty or official support by now, so I'm hoping you could give me some technical info to help with maintaining (and modding) this amp, even though I'm not a Peavey service shop.
FWIW,
I post all my adventures with projects like this on an Internet blog
site, so if you are able to give me assistance it will certainly reflect
well upon Peavey within the small community of amp builders and tone
gurus, because I'll certainly write up any positive experiences that I
have in this regard.
Anyway, what I'm seeking are the specs to the two main transformers in this amp.
Power: 705-16704
Output: 705-00043
Apparently these are supplied by Basler Electric.
Any
and all electrical specs would be appreciated, such as datasheet PDFs
if available. The most important data at present, if I could only find
out one thing, would be the Amp rating of the 6.3VAC heater winding, on
the power transformer.
If you can't release
this info to me, or if you no longer have access to it, could you
recommend any particular authorized Peavey repair shop or dealer, who
might be able to render such technical assistance? Or could you forward
this email to someone within Peavey who might be able to help?
Thanks for any help you can give!
